Treasuring your memories

Treasuring your memories Treasuring your memories
Sometimes it helps to memorialise the memory of your lost companion in some way, for example...

  • Select a favourite photograph and have it enlarged and framed
  • Arrange a family funeral or "goodbye" ceremony
  • Write a story about the pet's life
  • Put your pet's toys, dishes etc in a special place such as a Memory Box
  • Plant a flower or tree
  • Publish a memorial, exactly as we do when human members of our family die.
The NZ Herald has a Pets in Memoriam section. Or for a tribute with a photo that lasts a whole year, at less than the cost of one day in the NZ Herald, consider the lovely e-memorial garden for pets on petsonthenet.co.nz.
